A Friends of Ludington State Park summer series favorite, Nashville based singer-songwriter Chloe Kimes is defining the next generation of folk-singing troubadours with an old-soul sensibility for storytelling in a spirited alt-country outfit. Born and raised on the lakeshores of northern Michigan (between Ludington and Scottville), Kimes navigates a balance between poignance and charm with vocals wrung out and steadfast as any before her.  In May of 2022, Kimes was recognized by NPR for their Emerging Artist Spotlight as one of "10 Nashville Artists on the Rise." Her performance with her touring band is the Lake Michigan Beach House. Bring a chair.
