Eric Henning’s music is a love letter to Ludington. Inspired by his family’s local history and a lifetime of northern summers, his songs capture iconic moments like:

• Grandfather’s childhood on Melendy Street
• Hiking Piney Ridge Road to the dam

• Fireworks lighting up Hamlin Lake

• End-of-summer shopping at Traverse Bay Woolen Co.

With themes of perseverance and joy, Eric will perform many songs from his brand-new May album, Getting off the Grid, as well as his track 'Keep Making Memories'.

Each year, FLSP receives inquiries from performers or their managers about potentially performing in the Summer Series. The FLSP Summer Series Committee, chaired by Gary Hearing, FLSP VP, reviews the inquiries and past performers and creates the schedule for the season. Eric read about our amphitheater project and wanted to help. He generously offered to turn his performance into a fundraiser by waiving his fee, donating $1,000, and matching all donations raised that evening up to $4,000. Please join us on Tuesday, June 30, to help maximize the impact of Eric's wonderful offer.
